youtube-playlist

Use when a YouTube playlist is involved: pasted playlist links or IDs, requests to list playlist videos, browse playlist contents, or work through a playlist for transcripts or research. Also use when the user wants all videos from a series, course, or collection. Not for creating playlists or account management.

SKILL.md

YouTube Playlist

Browse playlists and fetch transcripts via TranscriptAPI.com.

Setup

If $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY is not set, read references/auth-setup.md and follow the instructions there to get and store the key.

Required Headers

Every request needs two headers:

  • Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
  • User-Agent: your agent's name and version if known (e.g. HermesAgent/0.11.0, ClaudeCode/1.0). Version is optional — agent name alone is fine. Do not omit this header or send a bare default — Cloudflare will return a 403 (error code 1010) and block the request.

API Reference

Full OpenAPI spec: transcriptapi.com/openapi.json — consult this for the latest parameters and schemas.

GET /api/v2/youtube/playlist/videos — 1 credit/page

Paginated playlist video listing (100 per page). Accepts playlist — a YouTube playlist URL or playlist ID.

# First page
GET https://transcriptapi.com/api/v2/youtube/playlist/videos?playlist=PL_PLAYLIST_ID
Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
User-Agent: YourAgent/1.0

# Next pages
GET https://transcriptapi.com/api/v2/youtube/playlist/videos?continuation=TOKEN
Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
User-Agent: YourAgent/1.0
ParamRequiredValidation
playlistconditionalPlaylist URL or ID (PL/UU/LL/FL/OL prefix)
continuationconditionalnon-empty string

Provide exactly one of playlist or continuation, not both.

Accepted playlist ID prefixes:

  • PL — user-created playlists
  • UU — channel uploads playlist
  • LL — liked videos
  • FL — favorites
  • OL — other system playlists

Pagination flow:

  1. First request: ?playlist=PLxxx — returns first 100 videos + continuation_token
  2. Next request: ?continuation=TOKEN — returns next 100 + new token
  3. Repeat until has_more: false or continuation_token: null

Workflow: Playlist → Transcripts

# 1. List playlist videos
GET https://transcriptapi.com/api/v2/youtube/playlist/videos?playlist=PL_PLAYLIST_ID
Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
User-Agent: YourAgent/1.0

# 2. Get transcript from a video in the playlist
GET https://transcriptapi.com/api/v2/youtube/transcript?video_url=VIDEO_ID&format=text&include_timestamp=true&send_metadata=true
Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
User-Agent: YourAgent/1.0

Don't know a playlist ID? Find it from the channel

To browse a channel's playlists first (1 credit/page), then list videos in one of them:

# 1. List the channel's playlists
GET https://transcriptapi.com/api/v2/youtube/channel/playlists?channel=@TED
Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
User-Agent: YourAgent/1.0

# 2. List videos in the chosen playlist (playlistId from step 1)
GET https://transcriptapi.com/api/v2/youtube/playlist/videos?playlist=PLAYLIST_ID
Authorization: Bearer $TRANSCRIPT_API_KEY
User-Agent: YourAgent/1.0

Extract playlist ID from URL

From https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrAXtmErZgOeiKm4sgNOknGvNjby9efdf, the playlist ID is PLrAXtmErZgOeiKm4sgNOknGvNjby9efdf. You can also pass the full URL directly to the playlist parameter.

13c-metabolic-flux
K-Dense-AI/scientific-agent-skills48k

13c-metabolic-flux

Estimates intracellular metabolic fluxes from steady-state carbon-13 isotope-tracing measurements using validated atom maps, mfapy isotope simulation, constrained multistart fitting, and flux-profile diagnostics. Use for 13C-MFA, carbon tracing, mass isotopomer distributions (MDVs/MIDs), positional isotopomers, parallel tracer experiments, and determining whether labeling data constrain a pathway flux. Distinguishes measured-label inference from COBRA flux balance analysis and flags experiments requiring nonstationary MFA.

Science

datamol
K-Dense-AI/scientific-agent-skills48k

datamol

Pythonic wrapper around RDKit with simplified interface and sensible defaults. Preferred for standard drug discovery including SMILES parsing, standardization, descriptors, fingerprints, clustering, 3D conformers, parallel processing. Returns native rdkit.Chem.Mol objects. For advanced control or custom parameters, use rdkit directly.

bulk-rnaseq
K-Dense-AI/scientific-agent-skills48k

bulk-rnaseq

Prepares bulk RNA-seq FASTQ, Salmon, STAR or featureCounts output for gene-level differential expression. Covers nf-core/rnaseq and standalone quantification, biological replication, strandedness, reference provenance, validated count assembly and a PyDESeq2 handoff. Use for FASTQ-to-counts analysis, nf-core/rnaseq configuration, STAR/Salmon quantification, or building a counts matrix for DESeq2. For single-cell data use scanpy; for statistical fitting alone use pydeseq2.

Science

alphagenome
K-Dense-AI/scientific-agent-skills48k

alphagenome

Looks up precomputed AlphaGenome Atlas effects for any GRCh38 single-nucleotide variant (AVI score with Phred and 18 SHAP feature attributions, plus raw and quantile scores for RNA-seq, DNase, ATAC, ChIP-TF, ChIP-histone, CAGE, PRO-cap, splicing, polyadenylation and contact-map tracks), scores variants or scans windows on demand with the AlphaGenome model for human and mouse (variant scoring, in silico mutagenesis, REF-versus-ALT track prediction), and builds Atlas website deep links. Use when the user mentions AlphaGenome, AlphaGenome Atlas, AVI or AlphaGenome Variant Impact, DeepMind variant effect prediction, or wants to prioritise or mechanistically interpret non-coding, regulatory, splicing, enhancer, promoter, or chromatin-accessibility effects of SNVs from a VCF, credible set, or region. Research use only; not a clinical tool.
