Terms of Service

Effective Oct 10, 2026

Welcome to FunCoding. These terms cover the funcoding.ai website, the funcoding-cli command-line tool, and FunCoding accounts (the "Services"). The Services are run by an individual; "we" means the operator of FunCoding. By signing up, signing in, or using the Services, you agree to these terms.

What we provide

FunCoding is a resource site for AI coding. Everything is currently free:

  • Chinese documentation for coding agents, based on each vendor’s official docs. Every page lists its sources and when it was last checked. The official docs always take precedence.
  • A catalog of Skills and MCP servers, collected automatically from public GitHub repositories and the official MCP Registry, plus collections and notes picked by us.
  • News about the AI industry, provided by AIHOT, with the source and a link to the original kept on every page.
  • A blog, and account features such as favorites, lists, and installing from the command line.

Your account

You can sign up with GitHub, Google, or email. Use an email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password safe. Signing in with different methods that share the same email gives you one account.

When you sign in from funcoding-cli and choose "Allow" on the website, the CLI receives a token that acts as your account. On devices you no longer use, run funcoding auth logout.

If someone else gets into your account, reset your password and contact us. We may suspend or close accounts that impersonate others, are created in bulk, or break these terms.

Third-party Skills and MCP servers

Skills and MCP servers in the catalog are built and maintained by their authors, who own them. Follow each one’s license. We collect and organize them; we don’t review their code and aren’t responsible for what they do.

Skills and MCP servers can let an agent read and write files, run commands, and access the network. Before installing one, look at its repository and instructions and make sure you trust the source. The "Official" label only means the vendor of the product published it. It isn’t an endorsement from us.

If you are the author of a repository and don’t want it listed, or you think an entry infringes your rights, email us and we’ll look into it.

Your content

Your favorites and lists belong to you. Anyone with the link to a shared list can see its title, description, entries, and your name and avatar. After you stop sharing or reset the link, the old link stops working within a minute.

Don’t put illegal, infringing, harassing, or promotional content in list titles or descriptions. We may remove such content or turn off sharing.

What you can’t do

  • Attack or scan the Services, or get around sign-in, rate limits, or other restrictions.
  • Create accounts in bulk with automation, or crawl pages and APIs at a rate that affects the Services.
  • Impersonate others, or use the Services to spread malware or illegal content.
  • Copy our documentation or collection notes wholesale and publish them elsewhere. When quoting, credit us and link back.

Changes to the Services

We keep changing the Services and may add, change, or remove features and entries, or pause the Services for maintenance. We’ll try to announce changes on the website ahead of time, but we can’t promise the Services will always be available.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided as is. The Chinese documentation may lag behind the official docs, and some notes are written with AI. Both may contain mistakes. For anything involving security, cost, or production systems, check the official docs and use your own judgment.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost data or business interruption, caused by using or being unable to use the Services.

Stopping

You can stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your account at the email below. If you break these terms, we may end your access.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll post a notice on the website and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
